I'm Joe Bruechner — data guy at heart, full-stack builder by obsession, powered entirely by curiosity and determination.

A few years ago I was just writing Python and tuning fraud-detection models. Then powerful AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor showed up, and everything changed. Almost overnight I went from "What's Docker?" to shipping production apps end-to-end.

The clearest example is Atticus AI. I started with a simple idea: an AI-native workspace that actually helps small law firms and solo lawyers. Four months later there's a real, multi-tenant platform — user-specific RAG search over private documents, real-time research chat powered by Claude on Bedrock, intelligent document creation, Stripe billing, proper auth, rate limiting, and compliance baked in from day one — all built mostly solo while bootstrapping and learning half the stack along the way.

I still love data analytics and machine-learning rigor (nothing beats seeing a model move the needle in production), but right now it's just too much fun to build things that are useful, weird, or meaningful.
